Cart Actions Configuration

The Cart Actions configuration section provides settings for customizing cart interaction behavior in the storefront. These options control AJAX functionality, post-add-to-cart actions, and user experience during cart operations.

AJAX Cart Actions

Configure AJAX-based cart operations for enhanced user experience.

Configuration Options:

• Enable AJAX Cart Actions - Control AJAX functionality for cart operations
  • Yes - Enables AJAX-based add to cart, remove from cart, and quantity updates (default)
  • No - Uses traditional page reloads for cart operations

Benefits:

• Faster cart operations without page reloads
• Improved user experience with instant feedback
• Reduced server load through asynchronous requests
• Better mobile experience with responsive interactions

Action After Add to Cart

Configure the behavior that occurs immediately after a product is successfully added to the cart.

Configuration Options:

• None - No action after adding product to cart
• Show Minicart - Automatically open the minicart overlay
• Show Modal with Product Info - Display modal with product details and cart summary

Behavior Details:

• None: Product is added to cart with no additional action or feedback
• Show Minicart: Opens the minicart overlay to show updated cart contents
• Show Modal with Product Info: Displays a modal with product information and cart summary
